The Trust Watcher catalog.

Splynek watches these apps' Privacy Policy + Terms of Service for material changes. When a vendor edits something that actually matters, you find out. Open catalog, community-curated, MIT-licensed.

How it works

No backend, no telemetry, no account. Trust Watcher is a catalog of canonical Privacy Policy + Terms of Service URLs that ship with the Splynek Mac app. Once a day the app fetches each URL, hashes the meaningful content (no CDN noise, no whitespace, no boilerplate), and compares to yesterday's hash. Material differences become alerts on your Mac and push notifications on your iPhone Companion.

1

The catalog ships with the app

You don't subscribe to anything. The list of URLs lives inside Splynek and updates with every release.

2

Your Mac does the hashing

SHA-256 of the meaningful HTML content, computed locally. The hashes never leave your machine.

3

You get told what changed

Material edits (not whitespace, not CDN tweaks) surface as an alert with the diff. You decide what to do.
